We hired Roberts' to replace an existing geothermal unit. They are very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, on time, and conscientious. They had to remove an existing furnace carrying it upstairs through tight quarters, through our kitchen, then carrying the new unit through the same tight quarters. There were 4 men here to remove the old furnace and to replace the new one. They did all this without scratching a wall, appliance, or floor. They have quality products, and do excellent work. I would highly recommend them!

We have used Roberts twice, once for a repair at our previous residence, and another to purchase a new A/C system at our current home. Both times the technitions seemed knowledgeable and friendly.With the new A/C unit, Roberts calculated that our old 4-Ton Lennox R22 unit may have been a bit too large and suggested a Ruud 3.5-Ton, 13.5 SEER, R410a unit to aide with dehumidification. After doing some due diligence, we agreed to purchase the new unit and scheduled the installation for the next week. The two installers had the old unit pulled and the new unit installed in about six hours, even with having to thread the new lines through a finished basement ceiling (although one access hole had to be cut where the lines exit the basement). Installers were friendly and personable, and tolerated me looking over their shoulders the whole time. For you technical folks, they properly purged the system with dry nitrogen and evacuated the it down to 350 microns. Since it had been raining, they could only install a partial charge, but came back the next day to take their final readings and dial-in the final charge with the proper amount of refrigerant.Overall, we are pleased with the installation and were pleasantly surprised with the installation of a slightly better coil, done by Robert's at no extra cost to us. Apparently, the warehouse was out of standard-efficiency coils and Roberts substituted the high-efficiency version on their dime. With the better coil, we were able to achieve 14.0 SEER, putting us at the next higher level of efficiency which, in turn, qualified us for a slightly better rebate from Mid-American Energy.Roberts "checked all our boxes" and we have no qualms giving them our recommendation.

Called Roberts @ 11 am and told them our AC was not working. It was a 90 degree day and I thought I would be told it would be a couple days before they could get here. I was blown away, they told me they would try and get here the same day, and that is EXACTLY what they did. Their tech had the problem diagnosed & repaired in no time. Good old fashioned service.

We called for a quote on a new air conditioner system, and after the salesman inspected our broken old compressor, he quoted a price that was very reasonable, and replacement of a furnace wasn't necessary. We set up a time for the installation for tomorrow. By lunch, installation was moved up to this afternoon. Three hours later we have air conditioning again. Installation was very good, and the gentleman doing the installation know what they're doing. Very pleasant experience.

Andy and his team were AMAZING! Our AC went out on Monday. After calling a couple of places who couldn't get into our home until Friday for a quote, Andy came out 15 minutes after I called him! We had a new AC put in on Friday. Great prices, and the install guys also went above and beyond by taking a 2nd look at the furnace while doing the install. They also looked at some other items to let us know what may be needed in the future.

If you are looking for someone to treat you like family and give it to you straight, these are your people!It had been recommended by another local company to replace our furnace because the needed repair would be $1400-1500. Andy showed up, made a call to find the part (and it was clear he had a solid relationship with the company providing the part), and provided a quote for significantly less. We later found out this competitor paid their service people sales commission so it was very advantageous for him to inflate the repair price to make a new unit sale.The next day Cory fixed us right up. And here is where is gets good! The door handle heading into the room with the furnace was loose. Cory just fixed it. How is that for amazing service and treating their customers like family.We will never call another heating/cooling company again!

The work was done on my furnace. I called Roberts on Monday saying that my furnace was not working they came out that same day and told me it was a board that was bad. They said they would be back the next day to fix it. It was not until Thursday when they did fix it. Also I looked up the prices on the parts they replaced and it was 300.00 for parts but they charged me 958.82 for all the work. I think that is just way overpriced!!! I will never go back to them ever!!!!! I tried to keep my money local and to a small company but I will never do that again. Very upset!!! Lesson learned..

I have been a happy customer for over ten years. When I moved to my present home nine years ago, I had Roberts install a new furnace and a new air conditioner. I was happily surprised at the reasonable cost. Since then, I have them check each at the beginning of its season. They also have helped me with plumbing work. I definitely depend on them, and they always have made me happy! Kudos to all of them, maybe especially to Kory Kahrs who has done all the checkups in the last few years! We recently had our whole HVAC system replaced in the house we moved to, so this is my second experience replacing an HVAC system. I was very happy with Robert’s service and price. Kudos to Roberts Heating in Carlisle. My furnace started making big, bad noises in the night so I turned it off. Even tho they were busy, they squeezed me in and got it fixed. I have been extremely happy with all of my interactions with this company. Knowing nothing about plumbing or heating/cooling I am always completely at the mercy of others. They always make me feel comfortable. Last month they were here to do my furnace check up but I also got my ‘wobbly’ toilet tightened up as a bonus. Yesterday afternoon I had a problem with my garbage disposal. I called and told them what I had experienced and said I needed a new one. Immediately I was asked if I preferred to have them see if it could be fixed. (It is at least a decade old). I was asked that same question when he arrived this morning. I really appreciate the fact that they are trying to do what is best for my situation and not just sell me something. It was put in quickly and cleanly. As a big bonus (as far as I’m concerned) was how my dog was treated. She knows a good person when she meets him.

We had a house fire back in May & over the course of 7 months our home had to be stripped down to the studs & everything replaced. We were very fortunate to have had Roberts company as our plumbing/heating/air conditioning contractor. Their work was perfect and provided great attention to detail. While everyone we encountered was professional, the guy that stood out the most was Chad. His demeanor was such that we truly consider him a friend. I have lived in my house for quite a few years and had problems with freezing pipes just about every one of them. Last year after another frozen pipe, I called Roberts and they came in and replaced the old plumbing, including the plumbing to my outside faucets. I took out the concrete, they installed all of pipes, I put the concrete back in and walls, and they installed the shower and toilet. Scheduling was smooth and absolutely no issues. A few years later I had them install some heat runs in the basement I finished. They charged me exactly what they quoted.Fast forward to today, I called them because the water heater in the family restaurant wasn't working and we were forced to close early. They had someone out within an hour, even though they were booked a week out. They were able to clean the faulty part and get me up in running in just a few minutes. I know some other companies would have said I need a whole new part.The best thing about their service, is if it something simple to correct, they will show you how to fix it. So you don't need to get another service charge for them to come out again for something so simple. They are looking out for you and not just about their bottom line.

Once again I have had great service from Roberts. On Tues. I called stating I was having a plumbing problem plus could not get the water turned off. I was immediately put on the schedule for the day. Within a few minutes I had a call back stating he would stop by to get the water turned off and evaluate the situation. Ben at Roberts Heating and Cooling was amazing. I had called them as they were the ones that serviced my furnace for a home i just bought and i had a concern with my furnace blinking a red and green light. Being new to home ownership, I don't know anything when it comes to furnaces and heating. They were very friendly and quickly sent someone out. Upon arrival we found out it was user error and everything was fine but Ben pointed out something the real estate agent didn't mention to me in that the motor on my furnace was about to go out and he recommended that I get it replaced immediately. He walked me through everything and gave me an honest quote which it ended up being on the lower end (yay!). Ben then came back the very next morning and replaced it with the part and now everything is running smoothly and quietly. Ben, I can't thank you enough for all of your help and answering my dumb questions as a new home owner these things can be very scary. I would recommend Roberts to anyone and especially recommend Ben as he truly is an expert of his craft.

I have used Roberts several times in the past and have been completely satisfied with each job. An outside spigot had frozen and broken during the winter, but I did not realize it until the ground thawed this week. It was a Saturday afternoon, but Andy P was here within 30 minutes of my call. He showed me exactly what was needed and explained it thoroughly, then capped the waterline so that it was OK for the remainder of the weekend. On Monday, Michelle called to reconfirm that the time frame Andy P and I had discussed on Saturday was still convenient for my schedule. Monday afternoon Ben was punctual and courteous, and completed the repair in less than an hour. Both guys fully explained the repairs needed before any work was done, which I always appreciate. The work we had done with them was at a great value compared to other companies in the area, arrived on time, were done even earlier than expected, provided great work for us, and were very friendly. We recently had Roberts Heating, Cooling and Plumbing install a new furnace and air conditioner and do some plumbing work for us. Andy came the day after we called, explained everything and gave us the cost of what we needed done. He was very knowledgeable, professional and down to earth. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all of our questions. The price he gave us was less than we expected. Alex and Kyle installed the unit and did the plumbing. They did a great job, were friendly, answered any questions we had, and got it all done in less time than we had anticipated. They also were very neat and cleaned everything up before they left. When our central air unit wasn’t working on a Saturday night, Ben came out to try and troubleshoot our problem. He was able to correct and get our AC working before he left. He was aware of the pandemic and wore a mask and took of his shoes. I would recommend Ben time and time again. He was personable, respectful and knowledgeable.

He was conscientious about safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, wore a mask, took off shoes, and was extremely polite. Amazing service! I would not call anyone else! Our water heater went out last winter and my husband was in the hospital. I didn't know who to call, but my husband had used them before and I found their business card on the refrigerator. I called, and they were helpful and kind, they came out right away and replaced it, under warranty within a few hours. They asked about my husband and his health. They remembered him from their first visit months before. Their service was outstanding, professional, and yet so personal. They saved us alot of money, and I'll never forget their kindness. About a month ago (Late September) my AC went out. Both our furnace and AC were original to the house and over 20 years old so I decided it was time to replace both. I called approximately 5 companies to provide estimates and fortunately Roberts had someone available later that afternoon.After enduring other 1.5-2 hour sales pitches from competitors, it was refreshing to deal with Roberts and get a no BS conversation and quote.Price - ExcellentProduct - ExcellentService - Excellent +++++I can't say enough good about these guys regarding service. The day I was quoted the new system they refilled my AC with coolant to get me by for the 6 days until they could do the install (really thankful as it was in the 90s that weekend).During the install.. the service techs were professional, clean and friendly. I mentioned I had some bad toilet valves (wont shut off, West Des Moines water) and was concerned because I wanted to tile the baths later that week. Literally 10 minutes later, two toilet valves were replaced (They wouldn't even accept payment for it). Nothing to do with the job.. but no better way to articulate how Roberts goes above and beyond.To sum it up.. if you are like me and appreciate good old fashion customer service.. then look no further than Roberts.

We hired Roberts' to replace an existing geothermal unit. They are very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, on time, and conscientious. They had to remove an existing furnace carrying it upstairs through tight quarters, through our kitchen, then carrying the new unit through the same tight quarters. There were 4 men here to remove the old furnace and to replace the new one. They did all this without scratching a wall, appliance, or floor. They have quality products, and do excellent work. I would highly recommend them!

We have used Roberts twice, once for a repair at our previous residence, and another to purchase a new A/C system at our current home. Both times the technitions seemed knowledgeable and friendly.With the new A/C unit, Roberts calculated that our old 4-Ton Lennox R22 unit may have been a bit too large and suggested a Ruud 3.5-Ton, 13.5 SEER, R410a unit to aide with dehumidification. After doing some due diligence, we agreed to purchase the new unit and scheduled the installation for the next week. The two installers had the old unit pulled and the new unit installed in about six hours, even with having to thread the new lines through a finished basement ceiling (although one access hole had to be cut where the lines exit the basement). Installers were friendly and personable, and tolerated me looking over their shoulders the whole time. For you technical folks, they properly purged the system with dry nitrogen and evacuated the it down to 350 microns. Since it had been raining, they could only install a partial charge, but came back the next day to take their final readings and dial-in the final charge with the proper amount of refrigerant.Overall, we are pleased with the installation and were pleasantly surprised with the installation of a slightly better coil, done by Robert's at no extra cost to us. Apparently, the warehouse was out of standard-efficiency coils and Roberts substituted the high-efficiency version on their dime. With the better coil, we were able to achieve 14.0 SEER, putting us at the next higher level of efficiency which, in turn, qualified us for a slightly better rebate from Mid-American Energy.Roberts "checked all our boxes" and we have no qualms giving them our recommendation.

Called Roberts @ 11 am and told them our AC was not working. It was a 90 degree day and I thought I would be told it would be a couple days before they could get here. I was blown away, they told me they would try and get here the same day, and that is EXACTLY what they did. Their tech had the problem diagnosed & repaired in no time. Good old fashioned service.

We called for a quote on a new air conditioner system, and after the salesman inspected our broken old compressor, he quoted a price that was very reasonable, and replacement of a furnace wasn't necessary. We set up a time for the installation for tomorrow. By lunch, installation was moved up to this afternoon. Three hours later we have air conditioning again. Installation was very good, and the gentleman doing the installation know what they're doing. Very pleasant experience.

Andy and his team were AMAZING! Our AC went out on Monday. After calling a couple of places who couldn't get into our home until Friday for a quote, Andy came out 15 minutes after I called him! We had a new AC put in on Friday. Great prices, and the install guys also went above and beyond by taking a 2nd look at the furnace while doing the install. They also looked at some other items to let us know what may be needed in the future.

If you are looking for someone to treat you like family and give it to you straight, these are your people!It had been recommended by another local company to replace our furnace because the needed repair would be $1400-1500. Andy showed up, made a call to find the part (and it was clear he had a solid relationship with the company providing the part), and provided a quote for significantly less. We later found out this competitor paid their service people sales commission so it was very advantageous for him to inflate the repair price to make a new unit sale.The next day Cory fixed us right up. And here is where is gets good! The door handle heading into the room with the furnace was loose. Cory just fixed it. How is that for amazing service and treating their customers like family.We will never call another heating/cooling company again!

The work was done on my furnace. I called Roberts on Monday saying that my furnace was not working they came out that same day and told me it was a board that was bad. They said they would be back the next day to fix it. It was not until Thursday when they did fix it. Also I looked up the prices on the parts they replaced and it was 300.00 for parts but they charged me 958.82 for all the work. I think that is just way overpriced!!! I will never go back to them ever!!!!! I tried to keep my money local and to a small company but I will never do that again. Very upset!!! Lesson learned..

I have been a happy customer for over ten years. When I moved to my present home nine years ago, I had Roberts install a new furnace and a new air conditioner. I was happily surprised at the reasonable cost. Since then, I have them check each at the beginning of its season. They also have helped me with plumbing work. We recently had our whole HVAC system replaced in the house we moved to, so this is my second experience replacing an HVAC system. I was very happy with Robert’s service and price. I have been extremely happy with all of my interactions with this company. Knowing nothing about plumbing or heating/cooling I am always completely at the mercy of others. They always make me feel comfortable. Last month they were here to do my furnace check up but I also got my ‘wobbly’ toilet tightened up as a bonus. Yesterday afternoon I had a problem with my garbage disposal. I called and told them what I had experienced and said I needed a new one. Immediately I was asked if I preferred to have them see if it could be fixed. (It is at least a decade old). I was asked that same question when he arrived this morning. I really appreciate the fact that they are trying to do what is best for my situation and not just sell me something. It was put in quickly and cleanly. As a big bonus (as far as I’m concerned) was how my dog was treated. She knows a good person when she meets him.

We had a house fire back in May & over the course of 7 months our home had to be stripped down to the studs & everything replaced. I have lived in my house for quite a few years and had problems with freezing pipes just about every one of them. Last year after another frozen pipe, I called Roberts and they came in and replaced the old plumbing, including the plumbing to my outside faucets. I took out the concrete, they installed all of pipes, I put the concrete back in and walls, and they installed the shower and toilet. Scheduling was smooth and absolutely no issues. A few years later I had them install some heat runs in the basement I finished. They charged me exactly what they quoted.Fast forward to today, I called them because the water heater in the family restaurant wasn't working and we were forced to close early. They had someone out within an hour, even though they were booked a week out. They were able to clean the faulty part and get me up in running in just a few minutes. I know some other companies would have said I need a whole new part.The best thing about their service, is if it something simple to correct, they will show you how to fix it. So you don't need to get another service charge for them to come out again for something so simple. They are looking out for you and not just about their bottom line.

Once again I have had great service from Roberts. On Tues. I called stating I was having a plumbing problem plus could not get the water turned off. I was immediately put on the schedule for the day. Within a few minutes I had a call back stating he would stop by to get the water turned off and evaluate the situation. This he did plus determined I needed a new toilet and that he had a couple of other appointments but could get it ordered and come back later. All of this was accomplished that afternoon. Robert's has serviced my units at my current place and my old house so they were definitely on the list of places to call. I highly recommend Roberts. Gave an up front cost and Corey was very personable and explained everything that needed to be done to my furnace. It now works like a brand new furnace. And price was very reasonable.

Ben and his team did an outstanding job getting us taken care of!! We came home late at night from vacation to no heat in freezing temps. We knew it was time for a new HVAC anyway. Monday Ben came and took a look at our existing system. We got a new one ordered and by Wednesday it was installed and we had heat. We couldn't have asked for better customer service! Thank you!

Recently found we needed to locate a good, reasonably priced plumber. Asked for referrals from friends. We were referred to Roberts Heating, Cooling, Plumbing. Delighted we went with them! They were punctual and well informed of what our issue was. They kept me constantly apprised, not only of what they found the problem to be, but how they would approach the repair. They kept to their word and cleaned up after themselves. There were no surprises on the bill either- exactly what was quoted. They were very professional and polite the entire time. Thanks Ben!

Ben at Roberts Heating and Cooling was amazing. I had called them as they were the ones that serviced my furnace for a home i just bought and i had a concern with my furnace blinking a red and green light. Being new to home ownership, I don't know anything when it comes to furnaces and heating. They were very friendly and quickly sent someone out. Upon arrival we found out it was user error and everything was fine but Ben pointed out something the real estate agent didn't mention to me in that the motor on my furnace was about to go out and he recommended that I get it replaced immediately. He walked me through everything and gave me an honest quote which it ended up being on the lower end (yay!). Ben then came back the very next morning and replaced it with the part and now everything is running smoothly and quietly. Ben, I can't thank you enough for all of your help and answering my dumb questions as a new home owner these things can be very scary. I would recommend Roberts to anyone and especially recommend Ben as he truly is an expert of his craft.

I have used Roberts several times in the past and have been completely satisfied with each job. An outside spigot had frozen and broken during the winter, but I did not realize it until the ground thawed this week. It was a Saturday afternoon, but Andy P was here within 30 minutes of my call. He showed me exactly what was needed and explained it thoroughly, then capped the waterline so that it was OK for the remainder of the weekend. On Monday, Michelle called to reconfirm that the time frame Andy P and I had discussed on Saturday was still convenient for my schedule. Monday afternoon Ben was punctual and courteous, and completed the repair in less than an hour. Both guys fully explained the repairs needed before any work was done, which I always appreciate. I highly recommend Roberts Heating, Cooling and Plumbing.

This company conducts business the right way. They are courteous, respectful, take the time to explain what repairs they will be doing, how and most importantly why. I was able to get in touch with the owner immediately who promptly gave me a quote with 24 hours. We then had the men out to fix my issues in the very next business day. Wow! Highly recommend using these guys for your heating and plumbing needs.

Andy,Hey I just wanted to send you a quick note to say THANK YOU SO MUCH. It is a night and day difference from when our bathroom journey began= ). Alex and his crew (Marcus, and Kyle and drywall Jim and Diane) did such a great job at our house. Both bathrooms look amazing. It is nice to have not only working plumbing but plumbing that is finally up to code and not having leaks in our walls. Also Alex was great to work with dealing with my kids watching, asking to help and the questions they asked, he was always very nice to them I really appreciate that. We called Roberts to get a quote for a new furnace & AC unit. Andy was at our house within an hour! He was professional yet friendly & laid back which made us feel very comfortable. He laid out all our options and explained in details we understood what would be the best options for us and our house. It was so nice to not feel like he was just pressuring us into a sale like the other “golden” company that had been out previously. Roberts saved us thousands of dollars and we were more than happy to give a local family owned company our business. We recently had Roberts Heating, Cooling and Plumbing install a new furnace and air conditioner and do some plumbing work for us. Andy came the day after we called, explained everything and gave us the cost of what we needed done. He was very knowledgeable, professional and down to earth. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all of our questions. The price he gave us was less than we expected. Alex and Kyle installed the unit and did the plumbing. They did a great job, were friendly, answered any questions we had, and got it all done in less time than we had anticipated. They also were very neat and cleaned everything up before they left. Kyle and Cory were awesome. They worked quietly and were very respectful and considerate. They knew their product and worked hard. They cleaned up perfectly and were pleasant to visit with. When our central air unit wasn’t working on a Saturday night, Ben came out to try and troubleshoot our problem. He was able to correct and get our AC working before he left. He was aware of the pandemic and wore a mask and took of his shoes. I would recommend Ben time and time again. He was personable, respectful and knowledgeable.

We called Roberts Heating and Cooling at 6pm on Labor Day weekend and Ben answered the phone. He was at our house 15 minutes later and totally fixed our AC unit. He was conscientious about safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, wore a mask, took off shoes, and was extremely polite. Very personable technicians and took care of business in a swift and efficient manor. They will be our go-to heating and cooling specialists from this day on. Amazing service! I would not call anyone else! Our water heater went out last winter and my husband was in the hospital. I didn't know who to call, but my husband had used them before and I found their business card on the refrigerator. I called, and they were helpful and kind, they came out right away and replaced it, under warranty within a few hours. They asked about my husband and his health. They remembered him from their first visit months before. Their service was outstanding, professional, and yet so personal. They saved us alot of money, and I'll never forget their kindness. Amazing team!

About a month ago (Late September) my AC went out. Both our furnace and AC were original to the house and over 20 years old so I decided it was time to replace both. I called approximately 5 companies to provide estimates and fortunately Roberts had someone available later that afternoon.After enduring other 1.5-2 hour sales pitches from competitors, it was refreshing to deal with Roberts and get a no BS conversation and quote.Price - ExcellentProduct - ExcellentService - Excellent +++++I can't say enough good about these guys regarding service. The day I was quoted the new system they refilled my AC with coolant to get me by for the 6 days until they could do the install (really thankful as it was in the 90s that weekend).During the install.. the service techs were professional, clean and friendly. I mentioned I had some bad toilet valves (wont shut off, West Des Moines water) and was concerned because I wanted to tile the baths later that week. Literally 10 minutes later, two toilet valves were replaced (They wouldn't even accept payment for it). Nothing to do with the job.. but no better way to articulate how Roberts goes above and beyond.To sum it up.. if you are like me and appreciate good old fashion customer service.. then look no further than Roberts.
